With the heightened frequency of identity theft, hacking, and stolen credit card information on the rise, it’s no wonder that cybersecurity is a growing issue of concern in our society.

The problem, however, is that although our need for cybersecurity grows with every advancement in technology or software we make, our qualified technology workforce does not. The Nevada Independent reports that the technology field only comprises 2.8% of private-sector workers in the state. We simply do not have the trained-and-ready personnel to tackle the problem.
